Rose show in Port Ewen Sunday

Port Ewen is just south of Kingston on Route 9w and the show will be at the Town Hall in the center of the town (village)at the traffic light. We'll open for exhibiters around 7 and for the general public around 1 pm.
If you have any roses, bring them. It is always a good idea to bring roses to a show because otherwise you will look at some of the entries and say 'I had better ones at home' Which may very well be true. there is no charge for entering and help will be available. |

| I have never exhibited a rose - but am planning to bring my two found roses; one has been tentatively named as Banshee, and the other is still under debate. Glad to have the opportunity to see what roses other folks are growing in this area, and to finally get a chance to put faces to many of the people who post here. Am wondering if this rose show differ from ones I have been to in warmer zones? Then, I only saw HT's and minis exhibited - am hoping that I will see some OGRs and shrubs. Dee |

| Usually the show gets some of everything, including a large number of OGR and species entries. This year will be different than usual, because it was such an early spring. |
