The Rensselaer County Cornell Cooperative Extension is holding their annual garden tour on Thursday July 6, from 4-8pm.Tell them Kareen sent you and enjoy the tour.

Summer Garden Tour

July 6th, 2006 4-8:00 pm
Fee: $10/car

7 featured gardens in and around Sand Lake
A unique combination of elements, including a playhouse, children's "Touch Me" garden, moonlight garden, gazebo and shade plantings are combined to create an imaginative landscape
Behind an artistic handcrafted fence, a hilltop garden features both native American and exotic plants, many of which will be new to the average gardener
On a steep hillside overlooking Burden Lake, a hillside garden with a meandering path shows off a wide variety of perennials, such as daylilies, clematis, hostas and other horticultural delights
And many more…..

Maps will go on sale starting at 4pm at the West Sand Lake Elementary School (can be reached from both Rt 150 and Rt 43 in the village of West Sand Lake).
Maps will not be sold after 7pm
