Do you have Iris or Daylilies to divide, let me help

Hello

I have tried to follow the Garden Web rules for swaping plants but I have a 21 acre field and around the perimeter are a few old growth trees and a lot of weeds. Not much to trade. We have cleared some of the road frontage and have planted it with ditch day lilies (courtesy of the of the Garden Web members)and other perennials we could get for cheap. The road frontage is steep and we are tring to keep it from eroding. We got a box of iris at a local church plant sale and they are doing great. If there is anyone (within a reasonable distance to Columbia County) who needs there iris or daylilies thinned I could do it (in return for some of the plants). I guess this would happen in the late summer or fall. I hope this doesn't break any of the GW rules.

Thanks

Stephen

Stephen, I'm in northern Dutchess and have both daylilies and iris you could have (now). If you stab the woodchuck living under the lavender irises, I'll give you a bonus plant.

If you're offering woodchuck removal, I'll give you anything you want! I have daylilies and iris you can have also. Try joining freecycle.com and asking for them--you'd be surprised what people are looking to give away. I got 2 large boxes of pachysandra last week.

Me too - possibly without the woodchuck removal anyway though. I have two beds of daylillies that I do not want.

Just saw your July post. I live in Rockland County and have both daylilies and irises I need to divide
