Blueberry Season!

| Now open and I went picking this morning up at Greig's in Red Hook. They could be sweeter but were big and juicy. suspect that after the heat today and tomorrow, more sugar will develop so will be going back for more next week. As for the ones I have, I'll sugar them before adding ricotta cheese, my favorite topping for these blue nuggets. |

| We've been harvesting at home for about a week. The sweetness varies for us as well. Is the yield up there good? Ours isn't great this year. Candis |

| Picked a lot more Tuesday - bushes are loaded and berries are sweet now. $1.75 a pound. |
