Source for a drip watering system?

Posted by fatlester (My Page) on

I'm replanting the front of my house and want to put in a drip system.

Does anyone know of someone in Ulster Cty who installs these reasonably? I don't have complicated zones, just a one-zone system on a timer.

Thanks.

I don't know how you feel about installing them yourself, but there are several sources where you can buy everything online. Dripworks, for one, will design your system for you for free (you can fax them a garden layout) and provides good support. You could try calling them (they're on Pacific time), describe your new garden, and get a feel for whether it's something you can do. If not, they may be able to help you find an installer. I was able to install a simple system in about half a day.

Thanks for the info. What you describe is exactly what I was hoping to do. The area I want to do this for is not complex or even very large and I'm keeping the planting simple.

I will definitely check it out and speak to them.
