First big tomatoes

Two weeks ahead of schedule but I picked a half dozen Supersonic and had a big salad for supper. They aren't as large as usual but bursting with flavor. These have been my main crop tomato for years - always very reliable producing large, smooth, bright red fruit with what I consider to be the ideal flavor - not too sweet, not too bland, just right!
Last year I got one on August 14th so this season is way early.

RE: First big tomatoes

This has been the first week for the Brandywines I've been growing. No early varieties, so they're the first of the garden crop! I keep peeking at the fruit on my tomato vines to catch the first hints of color.
