Hydrangea source?

Posted by fatlester (My Page) on

Hi,

I'm planning to plant some white Annabelle hydrangeas and was wondering if there was a local nursery where someone had good luck finding these. White Flower, f.ex., doesn't even list them.

Would appreciate suggestions.

Thanks.

Have you tried Adams Fairacre Farms? They're in Newburgh and there's another up near Kingston. That's where I go for more unusual plants. Or try The Landscape Shop on 17K in Newburgh, they have a good selection and I like their prices.

Maybe one of the places can order the hydrangea for you.

Thanks Dian. I've been to Adams in Kingston but mostly for groceries and produce. Didn't realize they had a serious nursery. Will explore both.

Perhaps check it out with Croton Country Gardens... Down in Westchester. 5 minutes from Peekskill. Very nice place, but I don't know how the selection is this time of year.

Good luck.

you can also try ward's nursery. they are in great barrington. i heard the owner on the wkze saturday garden radio program. the topic was flowering buhes and trees --- i think this was one that he mentioned, so maybe they sell it at their nursery? this is their web site:
