 o
Hyacinthoides non-scripta

folks -

I'm looking at the bulb catalog and would like to know if these are deer-proof: Hyacinthoides non-scripta. They look lovely but if I'm just going to feed the local population I won't even bother with them. We've had success with Allium and daffodils, FYI.

thanks
Nate

Nate, I've had those bulbs eaten by underground, digging animals. Don't know about deer, though.

I've tried them several times and never got them going - they were either eaten or didn't like my soil.
Spanish wood hyacinths however, do just fine.
