starting this Friday, August 4th at Fix Orchards north of Germantown. 75 cents a pound.

Wow! Peaches. Anybody know where I can get a peach tree around here? I tried growing one from a pit, but it died, and it would just take too long from seed to even be worth growing. I am only 19, so I have a bit of time to grow young trees God willing. Only problem I see, is young trees are so finicky, they have to be pruned very carefully to eventuaqlly gain the mature shape desired, and constant pruning makes plants (especially young ones)very likely to die.
