Wood Chippers on a Budget?

Posted by Playsinthedirt20 z6 HudsonValley (My Page) on

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a decent, small, electric chipper/shreader for under $200.00? I imagine that I'd have to order from a catalog because the prices at the local Lowes and Home Depot are far out of my price range. I would need it to chip very small branches (up to 2") and LOTS of leaves.

Isn't this cooler weather delightful? (But we sure could use some rain)

Thanks!

You could try renting one for over a weekend.
You can probably get a cheap leaf grinder but chippers have to be fairly sturdy.

www.harborfreight.com has one on sale.
