Garlic planted, finally

oldroser

It went into the ground on Thursday, before the rainstorm. I dug a trench and filled it with a mix of composted cow manure and top soil and planted the cloves in that and then mulched with wood shavings. And then sowed winter rye on the bare spots in the vegetable garden.

Have to plant elephant garlic this week but first must stop at Adams for more Moo-Doo.

And have to clean up the tomato patch and store the stakes.

And there are still 15 or 20 potted plants that have to come in - mostly roses.

And bulbs to plant. Why is it that the older I am the behinder I get?
