Pictures of your Hudson Valley garden

After hesitating until midsummer, I built a flower and herb garden in a meadow alongside the house I share in Woodstock.

I'm curious to see how others have adapted their gardens to the climate, soil, and wildlife of the Valley!

Wow - looks great - I am still trying to figure out how to combine plants so they look good and you certainly have that down!

I am new to gardening and am in the process of planting 1200 bulbs in one bed by the front of my house/driveway so I have no pictures yet! I am keeping my fingers crossed that I am planting them correctly and that no critters will get them before they can come up next year. I figure out of 1200 some of them will have to come up!

Wow Wayne - I am totally impressed... How big is your pond??? I can't believe you built it yourself. I love your roses too! I am planning on starting that in the spring. good to know they are growing in our area well. I think I am going to have to put up a deer fence before I do anymore planting, but the roses are next after that... thanks for sharing the pictures!
