It's been SLOW here for quite a while. Too much rain today but the temps are warm. What are you all doing to get ready for the winter?

Hey Tommy,

It is too bad..This forum used to be more active. Once I get a job, I will enjoy it a bit more but as for now I am just busy looking.

Anyways, I have mulched all the leaves back into the grass with a mower...Grass still nice and green, BTW. Emptied the compost into the beds and Veggie garden (after cleaning them out). Put up some deer netting in a few spots. Not much more to do here. Cut back all the perennials and hydrangias, etc. Sprayed Wilt-proof on the evergreens, etc. Soon I will have to check on the snowblower and make sure that is up to par!

How about you?

Hello! My grass is nice and green as well. Put all my carnivorous plants to bed for the winter, brought all the orchids and cold sentivive plants in last month, been raking my butt off. Planting some Anemones, pulled out the impatiens and elephant ears, etc. I love this time of year but HATE having to get things ready for winter, things are SO bare now. Thanks for replying!
