 o
seed/plant exchange?

I know people do this through the mail, but
I'm SO bad about mailing things that I don't bother with trades anymore.
I do have and want some seeds though.
One year, I arranged a 'group buy' of about 30 different types of seeds on ebay. I got all the money from the group members, got the seeds, divided them, labeled and mailed them... What a PITA. Then one woman's check bounced, resulting in a $10 fee from my bank, and another woman said she never received her seeds. I did get lucky and have one group member volunteer to divvy up a bunch of the seeds for me, but it was still a lot of work.

Anyway, I think the idea is great, but the hassle of going through the mail put a real damper on the fun.

So, would anyone like to meet in person to exchange plants/seeds or do a group buy?

Is there already a local club/group established for this purpose?
