Hey Art,

Your pictures are awesome and very clear. What kind of camera do you use? What is your film speed or are you digital? Can you post your pictures a little smaller, they are huge, but beautiful, almost life size of the hummers. How close were you or did you use a zoom?

Thanks for the nice remarks. I am using a Sony DSC-H1.
I love this camera. It has a 12 times optical zoom. I took this picture while standing about 10 feet away using the zoom and the automatic focus. I've taken hundreds of pictures of the hummers in my yard. My friends are tired of seeing them!

I have a hummingbird on my deck. It seems the wrong time of year. Do hummingbirds winter in Seattle? Should I feed it. I have a feeder out now, but worry this will keep the bird from heading south. Pam
