Ramsey Canyon and the Huchuca Mountains are also good spots. Ramsey Canyon is a Preserve near Sierra Vista, not sure if you could set up photo equipment there, or camp near by. Huchuca Mountains is also a good spot, and used to have camping areas, but haven't been there in years. Might want to check with the Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce for info.
