Do I need to remove the emergency homemade nest I made last year? It is still hanging next to the nest made by the hummingbird. She makes her nest in this same spot every year, she just rebuilds. I had to make it because her babies were in the bushes and covered with mites and the nest was falling apart and the cat was far to intrested. Is there any reason I should keep it or remove the one that I made?
