Mating dance

I saw the mating dance today. I believe it was a Rufous. Very exciting to see the U.

I think I now have both Rufous and Ruby-throats.

Things should be getting ready to happen in your gardens soon--if they aren't already.

Rob many flowers and shrubs are greening up. Many days like today and things really will be popping. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow. I keep telling myself that it is only the first of March and we can still have light freezes through April.

Contratulations on your 'mating dance'.

RE: Mating dance

Saw my first Ruby-throat today. Or rather the first one that I could positively identify as a male Ruby-throat.

In Central Florida spring has sprung--lot of things are blooming. The Purple Martins are back, the butterflies are showing up in greater numbers and now the Ruby-throats have returned.

The world is good.
