Hummingbird Garden

I decided to put my feeders out today and had a visit from a female within just one hour. This is the shortest time between me putting out the feeders and getting a visit that I can ever recall. I was fortunate enough to see this female at least two other times while outside this afternoon. A good beginning to what I hope will be another great hummingbird watching year.

That's great to hear. I finally had my first sighting yesterday around noon. So exhilirating! It was a male. Last season I believe I had the same female visit daily. Never a male. What a fun start to the hummingbird season.
