Awwwwwww. that is sad. I'm so sorry. I don't know what the correct answer is. I think that they will search out new food sources if the old ones aren't available. Maybe you could just put out a couple of feeders until it's time for you to go? Then, you could at least enjoy them while you are still there.

That is terrible! I would say, I guess, that you shouldn't put out any if you won't be around to maintain them later. I guess I think it'd maybe be slightly easier on them to first arrive and have to go elsewhere for food than to have been nesting with new little ones and then suddenly not have the food they expect... regardless, they'd have to go elsewhere, but I personally might try to go for the time when there are fewer new little ones, I guess. Impossible decision it is. If I were you, I'd be begging neighbors to take on the responsibility. :/

I am definitely not a hummer expert, but I would put out a few feeders to enjoy until you move. I think the hummers will find other food sources when you take your feeders down. They will probably follow you on your move - Ha!

Try asking a neighbor if they would mind feeding them, maybe a couple neighbors. Direct them to this sight for information. I bet they get hooked the first time they see one at the feeder! ;D

OH of course I meant give the feeders to your neighbors.
