Feeder over top of garden?

I've planted a pretty nice little hummingbird garden. Here is my setup and question.

I have a nice big glass and steel hummingbird feeder that hangs from a chain down in front and middle of our bay window. This year I did some research mostly on here and collected some nice hummingbird related plants to plant underneat the feeder. I planted 2 Wiegelas, 2 monardo, pineapple sage, montbretia lucifer, several snapdragons, salvias, and a monkshood. Most have not put on any flowers. The ones that have are the "wine and rose" wiegelas(amazing flowering, the Salvia, and snapdragons.

Heres my question, I only have 2 hummers so far. But all they get is nectar from the feeder. I haven't seen them on any of the flowering plants. Will they eventually frequent those plants or just be satisfied with my feeder. I want them to spend time on the plants I have provided for them as well.

New to the Hummingbird garden world!
