Spider mite resistant plants?

Last year I had lots of trouble with spider mite damage on my hummer plants. They badly damaged my scarlet runner beans, orange jewelweed, verbena etc. Only my petunias seemed immune but I've never seen hummingbirds use petunias except Pink Wave. I kept working on cleaning up the infested plants but it takes too long to recover them. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about the mite damage. I use neem oil and/or horticultural oil in a gallon sprayer . Both are pretty much organic and work by smothering. I use these as a defense against aphids which is the most destructive insect I have in my garden.
