I've had the same problem here. I only saw my first one here in SE PA three days ago and for just a moment. Then the following day I saw her again briefly. Nothing since. Usually I see them earlier and a bit more frequently. I'm really surprised at the delay since it has been so mild this year.

I came over to this forum just ask the same question. Down here in AR I have only seen 2 so far this whole year and my father just across the border in OK has only a few birds in his yard which is usually hummingbird world war 3 by now.

I've been wondering the same here in SC. I've got a couple of nice females that are around but pretty shy. I normally have a lot of birds. We have a mine going in here, so I've been wondering if that was scaring them off. Plus a lot of people have moved out, and no one is around feeding them but me. And the ones I have were pretty late this year. I only started seeing birds less than a month ago and we usually start having a few show up toward the end of March.

I'm in south eastern PA. I put my feeders up late 2 weeks before memorial day). I now have at least one pair and an other male. There's hope. Be patient! Could always add some more attractor flowers!

My friend said he saw one at his bush on Friday. I live in New Castle PA

We have been feeding hummingbirds for years and the last few years have had dozens. This year, just 3. I am sad - something must have happened to my beloved little birds.

A pair have been at my feeder every day for the last two weeks, here in northern Illinois.
