Hummingbird Garden

Nest next to pool!

Just found a hummingbird nest right next to our pool, about 15' above ground. The mom's been seating on it for a long time. I'm excited about it but at the same time very worried. When the time comes, I'm afraid the chick(s) will fall in the pool. I don't have a cover for it. Does anybody have any affordable suggestions to make sure the chicks don't drown. Or should I even worry about it?

Congrats on the nest! I don't think I'd worry about it, but you could tether an covered inner tube underneath it.
