Hmmmm! Whatever the nighttime raider is looks like you have a couple of choices , an elaborate expensive pole baffle or....

Just bring the feeders inside at night and back out first thing in the morning.

I had the same thing happen last year for the first time in the few years I have had a feeder. I had my feeder on a shepherds hook that was leaning towards the ground. One morning, I woke up to see the feeder empty with the little flowers over the feeding stations on the ground. Something had to partially unscrew the yellow flowers and lift them off. There was dirt and mud around each feeding station where the flowers were. So, it had to be something fairly tall, something smart, and something able to work with its paws. The only thing I could think of around here to fit that description is a raccoon.

I put the feeder on a taller shepherd's hook and it ended. Apparently, it was out of the animal's reach.
