| Well I now believe action is picking here . I just got through witnessing my first flirtations. A female had been sitting at my window feeder for a full 10min and she seemed rather cold for it has been quite windy here today.. and then a male arrived and briefly hit the other feeder and then thinking he was going to run her off, but no, he started doing this little wavering dance back and forth right in front of her and her head going back and forth watching his every move, it reminds me of peoples head watching a tennis match. That was my very first viewing of such a courtship and one I will always remember. |
