He was here and now is this common

I had a male arrive on may 2 and he was at my feeder for 3 days just in the evening for a bit. Now I have not seen for 2 days......Was he just passing through? Was May 2 considerd a bit early for our regulars anyway?

Amy he may have still been heading north. I had one arrive on April 29th and the next day he was gone by mid morning. Still waiitng for regulars to show up....My first regulars arrived last year on May 10th.
