Hummingbird Garden

First Sighting

I have had my feeder up since the end of April and yesterday June 4th,2007 I spotted the first hummingbird at my feeder. It was 7:30pm when a female showed and 10 minutes later the male appeared.I live in Windsor,Ontario and the migration map shows the first sighting April 20 for SWO area. Wow that was a long wait.

ptmax, I've had my feeder up since the beginning of April, and spotted my first female yesturday evening. I'm in central Maryland. I think our birds just like to make us wait!!! Congrats!!
