I had 2 hummingbirds that were coming regularly to my feeder. For various reasons I haven't kept up with my feeder but the plants are all in bloom (various salvias, butterfly bush, mexican sunflower, turks cap, various lantanas). I haven't seen any use these at all.

Most of my flower beds are sandwiched between a 6 ft privacy fence and a 4 ft metal garden fence (big rectangle "mesh" that other birds seem to love) to keep my dog out of them. There is at least 2 ft in between and I can't imagine the hummers not being able to navigate that but I thought it might be an issue.

I'll try to get back in the habit of filling the feeder but with my crazy life I was hoping they would use the flowers too.
