Hummingbird Garden

still waiting in northern Wyoming...

I am still waiting (sigh). I have both feeders and trumpet flowers, weigelia, and flowers that they won't be interested in- marigold, rose, petunia.

We are having cooler weather- to downright cold- 39-40 at night- 40-50's during the day.

Are they not coming because of the colder weather?

Oh no- the tv just said 34 degrees tonite!

I mentioned no hummers about 1 1/2 weeks ago to someone who has them and she has hadn't seen any at that time either.

I am so heartsick- I love to watch them. I don't think I am missing them- I am outside alot and usually hear them 'buzzing'.

This has been a strange year for many of us. The ones that visit my feeders and garden were much later this year and I am still only seeing sporadic activity. Here is an article that may be useful Hummingbirds in Wyoming
