Hummingbird Garden

Request: post pics of your cardinal flower seedlings

Hi hummer lovers,
I *think* I have several (numerous, actually) cardinal flower (Lobelia cardinalis) volunteers in my flowerbeds. I'm trying to get confirmation of that, and leave them. Would any and all of you post some photos of any seedlings you have growing, for comparison? Mine are 1-2" tall right now.

I'm growing these L. cardinalis seedlings in a "mini-bog". They range from 1" to 4" in size. Hope this helps.

Thanks, ctnchpr! I think (and hope!) my little plants are cardinal flower. They are all growing in a moist bed right off the front porch. Here's what mine look like:

They do look like L. cardinalis..., a mild dose of Nitrogen would probably help.
