Hungry Babies 8 - 9 days old

These 2 little babies are about 8 - 9 days old (at the time of the picture...May 30). Nest is in my MILs rose bush. Fun to watch : )

Great pics!!! Thanks for posting 'em!! I think they leave the nest at about 21 days old, give or take a few days.

How likely is it that this female hummingbird will return to the same nest next year (or whenever she has more eggs)?

I could be wrong about this, but I don't think they reuse their nests.
