Watering Needs?

I have a cement bird bath that I have had for over 13 years in my yard about 20 feet from the feeders. It is used heavily by regular birds, which I do not leave seed out for. I have to either fill or change the water a few times a day.

Do you have water in your yard for the hummingbirds? I have read that they love fountains and misters, and also like shallow water. Someone asked me if I had water out in bottles for them. Not sure how this would work as I would think that if they went to a feeder it would be for nectar and not water.

Not sure I want to do the fountain thing. For those that have misters, do you leave them on all day long? Anything else work? Not sure if they go to my current bird bath or not.
