Do Hummingbirds like knockout roses?

I've got some knockout roses in the front yard and noticed a hummingbird around them today. Do they typically get attracted to these? If so, that's great news!

I noticed a hummer feeding from my knockout rose today. He zipped from the rose bush to the B&B salvia nearby. Really fun to watch!

Since knockouts are not extremely fragrant and have little if any nectar relative to other flowers, my guess is that they are simply attracted to the color of the roses. Since they are insect eaters, they may find insects that are small enough to eat on or around the roses. That's possible as well. ??

I dont know if my rose is a knockout or not. It has quite a few flowers on it and they are yellow and some are fairly large. I dont remember it saying knockout when I bought it. Anyway I cant say I have seen hummers use it but Im guessing if I see them near it they might be after knats or some other bug.
