Do hummers need a water source?

Or do they just focus on the nectar? would they drink water from a typical feeder? (or would it make them mad that they were expecting nectar and got agua? lol

I dont want to run them off or anything...

I've been snapping photos (if I can get my camera ready quick enough before they fly off) and have taken a bunch of photos...I will try to post them later...

does anyone know how to actually import the photo (from photobucket or your dig. camera) to the actual post?

Hummingbirds need water more for cleaning themselves than for drinking.

A mister or sprinkler will attract them and it's fun to watch them zoom through. They can also clean up by flying through wet leaves.

As for drinking I'm not sure but remember, just a drop of dew can satisfy a hummingbird!
