Female & Lady in Red

Trying to take pics of hummers at flowers is so frustrating. My camera has such a long delay between the shutter button being pushed and the picture being taken, that I usually just end up with flowers. But I got very lucky on this one.

Picture taking can be frustrating on these guys , I agree. Also since you have put it up, my salvia are coming along very slowly this year, when last year it seemed they bloomed and excelled earlier or maybe its just me, but I have very few blooms of sal lady in red and guananitica black and blue at this time. Subrotunda are flowering well but little usage. Most of the usage here are on the cupheas and agastache varieties. Coral honeysuckle is doing well after a bout with aphids and now the japanese beetles are here.
