The other day one of my cats came to the back door with something in his mouth. I didn't notice he had something until I let him in. He let it go as soon as he came in. It was a young hummingbird. It flew around the laundry room and I shut the door to the rest of the house for fear I would not be able to catch it. It tried to land on the door facing, but couldn't . It just started moving down the facing and I cupped it gently in both hands and went outside and released it. It did not appear injured and just flew away. I still see it come to the feeder every day.

Was to glad I was able to save it!
