HummZingers are a hit!

I'm very happy to report that my hummers love my ultra HummZinger feeder.

I also have to of the fancy fuschia which they do feed from but not as much as the ultra.

I wonder why that is?

Glad to the hear the Ultra is working out for you. Do you have many hummers at your place?

I don't seem to have very many hummers. It is strange, they seem to cycle except for one female. She is my favorite. Yesterday I was doing some cleaning in the garage and she came up to the window to say "Hi".

Whenever I'm outside she is always buzzing around me and even following me at times.

Right now, she is my only female (I think). I've had a lot of males the last week but they all come at different times so no fighting.

Have you put the bee guard tips on the Ultra? Sometimes you have to put out that feeder without the bee guard tips to get the hummers used to coming. Then add the tips later.

Sorry, I miss read your original post. I thought it was the Ultra they were not coming to as well. Now I see its the Ultra they prefer.

Mine also seem to prefer the Ultra and other strictly red HZs to the Fancy. My only guess is simply the color. Also, I suppose the top of the Fancy is a bit more ornate and could be more confusing to find the feeding ports, compared to the Ultra/Excel/Mini/etc., where it is fairly easy.
