This newsletter is not current, but his email is listed as amazilia1@comcast.net or call him at 313-274-3434...don't know if those are current either, but it's worth a try!

From his website link above it looks like Allen Chartier is still involved with all kinds of Hummer data and documentation, is based in Michigan, and is interested in unusual hummer sightings.

Ok I have filled the feeder of course, It caught me off guard because I was going to fill the feeder when I seen it but was afraid to mess with it before getting the pics. I have contacted the Banders that band in Indiana, we will see what happens, I hope its still around tomorrow.
I feel so lucky to have had this opportunity. It just reaffirms that all of the work I put into the Hummingbird Gardens, and maintaining the feeders is worth it. Not that I ever doubt it is, however it takes alot of time to properly clean, fill, and maintain our 5 feeders, especially hot days like today.

Your hummer is Leucistic. An albino would have red or pink eyes and the bill and feet would also be devoid of color. I may also have one here. I caught a quick glimpse of it this afternoon at the feeder way out back but it was too far away for me to make a positive id from where I was. It was definitely a different bird from the others I have ever had around here.
