Hi - I'm pretty new to hummers but am loving them. I have a honeysuckle that, when it's in bloom, they love. I've also put a feeder near the window where I sit when I watch tv and boy, do they love it! I think ... can't be sure ... that there are only 2 different hummbers. I can slightly tell a difference between the 2 (not two different species - 2 different actual birds). Of course, there could be several more that just look like the two.

Again not sure, but they look similar to the pics of female ruby-throated hummers. But I've never seen one that looks like the pics of the male. Would it be unusual to only see females? It seems strange to me.
