We've had the great good fortune to have 3 successful nestings from our bluebird pair this year. And it's kept us pretty concentrated on the blues...

But we do have a nice batch of RT Hummers here again also and they're hard to ignore... ;) So I thot I could share a few photos of them here, even tho I've not posted much on this forum so far this season.

We do take photos of all our yardbirds, and are always happy to share them. I hope to have some more hummer shots to post here soon. :)

Joe and Debbie - It's always very gratifying to get questions and comments on our camera. It is a Canon S3-IS, to which we (usually) attach a Sony 1.7x teleconverter lens:

We've been shooting with this modest light-weight combo for just over a year now, and have been very pleased with it.

Kenn is that camera a 6 MP? Iam looking on Ebay LOL!!

Ha.. hi Debbie,

Yes the S3 is 6MP. As I said it's modest, but still a very nice camera. I haven't looked on Ebay lately but it is no longer a current model new, having been replaced by the S5-IS which is similar in features and price. So you may have trouble finding a new one. The S5 is also very nice tho and has a few added features. But for that matter, there are several pretty good offerings in this range by various makers, any one of which can take a very good picture.
