My 4-year old granddaughter and I enjoyed watching a couple of hummers feeding this morning from the window feeder. They also tried out the mini feeder in pots. Of course, one bully male, chased the others away, and it was fun for her to watch them. We went outdoors and I stood with the mini feeder in my raised hand, and they buzzed around, but never stopped to feed. She enjoyed watching, and I had hoped a hummer would "feed from my hand." But, not this time. Anyway, later I noticed both mini feeders were empty, and was over joyed, thinking I had much more activity. So, I filled them up, and soon after, I noticed a lizard sipping away, and realized the lizard had drained both feeders. I chased it away,and he has not returned yet.
