Why would you want feed a bunch of unnatural chemicals to the birds? Jello and Koolaid have the same food coloring that every hummingbird expert recommends you NOT add to sugar water for hummingbirds plus artificial flavorings and preservatives and other stuff that you won't find in flowers. You should read the page at the link for the reasons why the experts think food coloring is a bad idea for hummingbirds, then drink the Koolaid and eat the Jello yourself. Try oranges and grape jelly for the orioles and stick to sugar water for the hummers.

All respect to your desire to give the hummers what they want, but it would be best for them not to have the artificial food dyes. Stick to the standard 4 part water to 1 part regular sugar and they will do fine. I will admit I give them closer to 1.1 or 1.2 (a heaped) cup sugar to a qt of water, but never anything with coloring in it.

It's just best for them to not have those dyes.

I agree with sidk, except for the drink the koolaid yourself part. I don't think koolaid is particularly good for people either.

The problem you may be having is how you wash your feeders. I've read this and it's probably true that dish soap and dishwasher soap leaves a residue that taints the taste of the sugar water nectar. Instead wash your feeders with white vinegar and then rinse with tap water. I put full strength vinegar in a spray bottle and mist the feeders thoroughly inside and out, give them a scrub with a soft brush and rinse. The hummingbirds seem to like the flavoured drinks better only because the chemicals in them mask the soapy residue taste on the feeders.
