I'll be watching this posting because I was going to ask people here which are the very best 3 or 4 flowers that hummers love so I can plant those next year. I know there's a long list of ones they "like" but I need to know what they LOVE as I don't have room for much.

So far, I'll put Black and Blue Salvia on the list, and maybe fuchsias. Thanks!!

I don't have much for the hummers now, but I did buy some salvia coccinea "lady in red" early in summer and it has bushed out well in a container. The hummers have been all over it. A few hummers have used a hanging fuchsia basket. I also have made a list of several hummer magnet flowers people here have recommended and I plan to plant as many as I can next spring.

Now during migration I dont think hummers are all that picky and uses all the flowers that I have that bloomed. I too have a space problem so I have to take of advantage and use what they like best, it is also hard to pick and different areas will have different flowers that work well and it is also hard to pin it down to one or two so I will list my top 5.

3. Agastache tutti frutti
4. Coccinea lady in red/ coral nymph
5. Cuphea Shumannii [orange cuphea]
