Is there a time of day that they stop feeding and sleep?

My hummers feed from early morning, off and on all day, until 7:30 pm. I still have a male Ruby Throat, and several females. They are feeding more often at window feeders, and are much more friendly, and today I was able to observe "nose to nose" at the window. For the first time I observed 3 females feeding together at same feeder. I often use water hose to water plants, and I spray their feeders and the tree, and they love it! They are awesome!

During fall migration, my hummers feed all day. However, they feed the heaviest at dusk and then at dawn! I have 15 feeders out right now and am refilling them daily. Check out HummerBird Celebration.

My hummers feed all day during fall migration too, I usually wear a pair of UGG Boots to feed.

Here is a link that might be useful: UGG Boots
