New experience,,,, virgin territory

9/04/07--- My biggest swarm in a few days now easily 15-20 and I would say that is conservative. With so many here what better opportunity to try and hand feed sooooo! I had this extra 3oz feeder from walmart and sure enough there were several that came up to feed from it all females or juvies, no adult males fed from it. They even became territorial chasing other birds right up into my face, quite an eye opening event in more ways than one for 7:30 in the morning--- now how neat is that.

Must mean that my guys have made it there safley!;)Hope they stick around a few days and fatten up some more before they move on. I'll be sending the ladies and kids later!It really would be fun to be able to track just exactly where they do go and how long it takes them to get there.

Lisa--- Yes maybe it is your guys that showed up today there were at least twice as many as ive been having. Im sure every day some of these move on and more move in. Dont worry your guys will hang around long enough to get fat and sassy before moving on.
