Keep the Feeders Up!

I had not seen one in two weeks, but I spied one out my large front bay window!

It was exploring a little in my flower bed. I don't know if she found the feeders in the back of my house, but she spent a quick 30 seconds or so at the marigolds and coreopsis. I am thinking I will put a feeder in the front flower beds next year.

They are migrating and these must be the babies taking off just behind the parents.

Hear, hear, hummer! Keeping mine up.

A feeder in the front yard sounds like a great idea. I'm thinking about that, too.

I feel for the tiny new ones trying to gather up the strength to go while the bigger guys chase them around. I didn't have feeders last year, but I had one visiting the agastache every day well into October, with nights down to 37 or so. I was scared to death for him.
