I usually got a female hummingbird daily every couple of minutes, she would occasionally fight another female. There was one day though I didn't see any hummer activity on my feeders, then the next, I saw a female hummer. Now I haven't seen any activity for a full week, but I just saw two hummers fighting over a feeder that's located on my same block. Is this hummingbird nesting and keeping guard or did they leave? Last year they left about this time, but I didn't know about their nesting. The previous year after that, it was about October that they left.

What can I expect to see? My temp is in the high 90s right now here in Houston Texas.
