Hummingbird Garden

After 3 days of seeing no Hummers...

today there were 2! And one was the resident boss!! Our first

one to move in!! lol Im happy today :) Today is Tues.. I

cleaned and put new nectar Saturday,and again today. As soon as I got them

hung there were there.. battleing of coarse.. but the 2nd one

managed to get a sip before being divebomded! lol that little

dickens! At least I know they are still here.. my neighbor

will be happy too.. shes older and was so mad at the bees

for taking over her feeders!! Last night was in the 50s.. supposed to be tonite too.. 60s today and for the rest of the

week. Just had to post this :)

Hi alii--- glad you have hummers, the season is winding down. I still have hummers morning noon and dusk and a couple males , but it is predicted to drop into the 40s here at night for the rest of the week. With the shorter days and cooler temps might be enough to move em on out, hope not.

Alii, I wanted to give you a little hope to cheer you up. Now that you have seen hummers this year, they know your path....so they will be back next year and hopefully year after year the amount of hummers you see will grow.
