Surprisingly the last couple of days I have had more visitors passing thru and they just cannot seem to pass up my cuphea shumannii and its cuttings. You will notice this in the vid Im going to attach to this post.

the first bird that has hung around [all afternoon] seems to be trying to protect the arbor but there is no one to protect it from

Looked like the same hummer in the same spot this afternoon. With the cooldown coming next week I suppose they will all move on.

I haven't seen one for two days. I do believe I will still see a few young stragglers.

We're expecting a cooldown as well, with a low of 58 tonight so I'm sure alot of mine will move on. Still have just one male but not sure whether he's the same one who's been around for awhile or a new guest!

No cool down here yet. I have seen a couple of migrants at my front feeder this morning. I have not been outside yet to walk around the flowers.
